We are members of the European Kenpo Karate Association and the American Kenpo Training System organisations (view certificate) , and are fully insured (view certificate) .

The Kenpo Karate System

Westgate Kenpo Karate Club is a member of the European Kenpo Karate Association and American Kenpo Training System. The association promotes the Ed Parker Kenpo Karate System, this system is used throughout Europe, where the association aims to provide it's instructors and students with the shared experience from Black Belt graduates throughout Europe in the Kenpo karate style of self defence. The aim is to provide education in the all aspects of the Ed Parker Kenpo Karate System through leadership and guidance.

The Drogheda club

The club teaches a very effective style of self defence through the use of forms, techniques and sparring and the junior members have had good success at inter club competitions recently bringing home trophies and medals.

New Club members:

The club is based at the Matrix Fitness Centre in the Greenhills Industrial Village in Drogheda, Co. Louth.

Adult Classes:
Classes run on Wednesdays from 7:30PM and
Saturdays from 11:30AM.
As always, beginners are welcome to come and join in.

Junior Classes:
Classes run on Wednesdays from 6:30PM and
Saturdays from 10:30AM.
There are places open for new members, prospective students and their parents are welcome to come and view the classes in action.

Please Note:
Classes do not take place on any Bank Holiday Weekend.
